1st ANNUAL SMITH ISLAND ART FESTIVAL
11:30 am – 3:30 pm. Smith Island Cultural Center highlights resident Island Artists and Craft-persons, as well as the work of local mainland creators. Enjoy live music, boat building and watermen’s demonstrations, Native American history, and food – including authentic Smith Island Cake.

SOFT SHELL METRIC CENTURY
Show and go start 8-9 am. Crisfield American Legion, 116 Brick Kiln Road, Crisfield. Riders have the option of following the 62.1-mile (100-kilometer) route or the 23.1-mile route. Both routes pass through some of Crisfield’s most picturesque and historic areas. SAG service and rest stops available. All participants receive T-shirts and assigned numbers. Registration is $45 before May 18th & $60 after. Registration for children 12 and under is $25 before May 18th & $35 after. Day of registration is accepted, but pre-registration is encouraged.

24th ANNUAL SOFT SHELL SPRING FAIR
Noon-5 pm. Seafood/sides/beverage. Kids' activities, arts and crafts, demonstrations, Watermen's Hall of Fame, fresh crab cakes & soft crabs.
June 4, 2016
CITY DOCK SERENADE
5 pm. Join songwriters and performers Beth Wood and Wyatt Easterling, plus duo Naked Blue, for a free concert on the City Dock. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an evening of stories, songs and a Chesapeake Bay sunset. In case of bad weather, the concert will move to the pavilion at Somers Cove Marina.
