DESCRIPTION:We hope you will join us for the Inaugural Paddlefest at Janes 
 Island\nState Park. The park is located in Crisfield\, Maryland. Planned e
 vents\ninclude guided paddles\, Poker Run Paddle\, Campfire on the Beach\,
  food\,\nmusic\, pontoon boat rides\, coastal clean-up\, children's activi
 ties\,\nnature crafts and more!​\n\nEvent is FREE\, however registration
  is requested to allow us to\nproperly plan for the event. Participants ar
 e responsible for\nsupplying vessels. However\, a limited number of rental
  boats are\navailable on a first-come\, first-served basis. You may also c
 onsider\nmaking arrangements in advance with a local vendor offering a var
 iety\nof single/ tandem kayaks\, canoes and paddle boards. Multi-day\nrese
 rvations may also be made in advance with local vendors.\n\nBOAT RENTALS:\

 e\,\ncircumnavigating Janes Island. This is not a race and is designed for
 \nnon-motorized vessels and experienced paddlers only. Participants must\n
 register in advance to receive the challenge completion token.\n\n(Note - 
 This challenge is weather dependent and not recommended for\nnovice paddle
 rs due to open water and swift currents).\n\n​\nSchedule of Events\nWe a
 re currently working on finalizing the Schedule of Event details\nand will
  post here once completed.​\n\n​ ​\nActivities begin at 8am on Satur
 day\, June 3\, 2023. Anyone who wishes\nto camp at Janes Island State Park
  can make camping reservations\nonline at parkreservations.maryland.gov or
  by calling 1-888-432-2267.\nAlso\, there are local motels and airbnb opti
