Princess Anne Ghost Walk

May 9, 2026
7:30 pm - 9:15 pm

Meet in front of the Teackle Mansion and take a nighttime walk through the beautiful and spooky town of Princess Anne. Hear about two terrible murders, an old ghost in the Tavern, the Spirit of a doctor known to torment children, a judge who won’t leave his home and the spirits of Teackle Mansion.

But the scariest moment will be walking past the allegedly still haunted jail. Hear about the current activity and see some eerie photos including what looks like a child’s face in the window.

End your tour with a beautiful graveyard where you can touch the healing tree. Many strange images turn up in pictures taken on this tour so bring your camera. Due to the harsh content and sometimes weird paranormal activity, no children under 12 permitted on this tour.

NOTE: Due to harsh content, this walk is not open to children. There are strong themes (lynchings) and gruesome details about murder, suicide, and spirits that torment children. Guests must be at least 12 to attend and all guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

SITES ON THE PRINCESS ANNE GHOST WALK include the old Princess Anne jail, the Teackle Mansion, the Washington Hotel, the Princess Anne Firehouse, the Francis Barnes House, the Somerset County Courthouse and several historic homes along the main streets. Hear tales of the dead on a walk through St. Andrew’s graveyard in the dark and lay your hands on a “healing tree.”
