Linton's Crab House & Deck

Was disappointed in the quality of the food. My husband and I were visiting the area and had heard from friends that Linton’s seafood was the place to go for steamed crabs, shrimp, fish, ect.. We ordered crabs this past weekend along with shrimp and both were far from good. While I understand it is off season for crabs and these weren’t Maryland crabs, the crabs were steamed way too long. The meat was all mush. Out of the dozen we ordered we maybe ate 3-4 because the rest were garbage. They also weren’t very seasoned which I find annoying because the lady on the phone when I ordered over the phone asked how heavy I wanted the seasoning and I said medium to heavy. The shrimp were also over cooked and hardly seasoned. Such a shame and waste of money.

Stopped in for crab meat. Left with 1lb crab meat, soft crab sandwich and hush puppies, 2 pieces of smith island cake. Made crab cakes for dinner oh my that was good crab meat. Ate the soft crabs in the truck, they were perfect. Plump, cooked perfectly, flavor was terrific. The hush puppies were good too. The smith island cake was well smith island cake. Yum. Always get good things here! Great people too.
