As winter settles over us and the longest night of the year approaches, Sugar Water invites guests to step out of the cold and into an evening designed for warmth, creativity, and a little seasonal enchantment. From 4PM to 7PM, the Winter Solstice Cocktail Party at Sugar Water celebration where guests move freely through hands-on stations, linger with friends, and savor cozy flavors that make the season special.
This isn’t a sit-down dinner or a structured class—it’s a night meant to wander, taste, craft, sip, and reconnect with yourself and others as we welcome the return of the light.
Dress Code: Shades of Warm White & Neutral Tones
Guests are encouraged to embrace the glow of the season by dressing in soft winter whites, creams, oatmeal tones, and cozy neutrals. Together, these light hues create a beautiful midwinter glow throughout the space—subtle, serene, and perfect for a night centered around light and warmth.
The Build-Your-Own Baked Potato Bar & Cozy Winter Bites
Nothing says comfort like a perfectly loaded baked potato or the perfect winter bite on a cold December evening. Throughout the night, guests can visit the Baked Potato Bar, & seasonal grazing table, it’s warm, satisfying, and the perfect backdrop to mingle between stations.
Move At Your Own Pace: Hands-On Winter Solstice Stations
Throughout the night, guests can move freely between stations—no schedule, no pressure, just an engaging and fun experience at their own rhythm.
✨Make-Your-Own Cocktail or Mocktail Station with Ally
Instead of a class, guests get hands-on! With the guidance of Bar Manager Ally, guests will use their two drink-station tickets to craft their own specialty cocktail or mocktail featuring cozy winter ingredients—think warm spices, citrus, rosemary, and festive garnishes. Ally will be right there to assist, encourage, and spark creativity.
✨Candle Making with Lauren
Guests can pour their own winter candle—choosing seasonal scents like pine, vanilla, spiced citrus, or cranberry, peppermint & others (non-seasonal scents will be available). Lauren will guide each step of the process, and every guest leaves with their own hand-poured candle to light during the winter season.
✨Mini Tarot Readings with Paige of Blackwater Apothecary (Optional Add-On- you will pay Paige directly)
Paige will offer individualized mini readings throughout the evening, available for purchase directly from her. Guests can sign up for a time slot, explore the stations while they wait, and enjoy a moment of insight, reflection, or seasonal mystery if they choose.
