Smith Island Fishing Tournament
Register now for the 3rd Annual Smith Island Fishing Tournament to explore the vibrant traditions and culture of this cherished Chesapeake Bay community. Secure your spot in this three-day tournament, May 24-26, where event proceeds will benefit the Smith Island Fire Departments and its first responders. Prizes will be awarded honoring the top “Smith Island Slam,” who accomplishes the three fish stringer. The stringer consists of the following: redfish, rockfish, and speckled trout.

32nd Annual Soft Shell Festival and Waterman's Hall of Fame
Join us on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, May 26, at the Crisfield City Dock for a family-friendly event featuring delicious soft crabs and crab cakes, live music by the Going Coastal Band, and local artisans and vendors. Sponsored by the High Tide Club, the flavorful fun begins at noon and lasts until 4 p.m.
As part of the Soft Shell Festival, a ceremony will be featured to induct local working watermen into the Watermen's Hall of Fame. Take this chance to honor and thank the people who bring you the tastiest, freshest seafood around.
