Author Talk: Maryland Native Plant Guide Coastal Plain Region

Lisa Kuder, an editor and contributing author of the new Maryland Native Plant Guide: Coastal Plain, will discuss the significance of this landmark publication, created specifically for our region.  Topics to be discussed include: why a comprehensive native plant guide for the Coastal Plain is needed, the research and collaboration behind the publication, how native plants support healthy landscapes, practical ways gardeners can incorporate native plants into their own gardens and more.  This talk is sponsored by the Somerset County Garden Club and is free and open to the public.  All are welcome.
