Wonderful museum that gives a good representation of the history of Smith Island. The documentary film was very well done and a ‘must view’. We spent five days on the Island and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Soent 6 days on Ewell, Rhides Point, and Tylerton. The myseum gives a great picture of Smith Island life with waterman displays, journals, photos and a short movie. Local coffee, handmade items, clothing, and books to buy. Be sure to buy the book, An Island Out of Time, A Memoir of Smith Island in the Chesapeake by Tom Horton
